Occupational health care in Kelen Hospital
Hospital Kelen is a well-equipped private hospital in the 11th district, in the heart of Kelenföld. With its recently renovated building and interior architecture it resembles a pleasant hotel rather than a hospital. Our facility provides health care in accordance with international standards proved by MSZ EN ISO 9001:2009 Certificate. In all of Hungary, Kelen hospital is one of rare private ones to possess this quality assurance certificate for its outstanding service.
Our services are as follows, provided to enterprises and individuals respectively:
There are 15 consulting rooms, 2 operational theatres, 6 one-bed patient’s rooms (fully equipped with bath, telephone, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi internet connection and TV) and a conference room.
In Hungary, occupational health service provided by the employer is obligatory declared in Act XCIII of 1993 on Labor Safety, Section 58. The content, task and aim of the basic service are regulated by the Governmental Decree No. 89/1995 and NM Decree No. 27/1995 of Ministry of Public Welthfare. One of these duties – obligatory for all employees – is the medical examination and reporting on job aptitude charged on the employer.
Hospital Kelen is licenced to provide occupational health services, which we organize on a single visit, on appointment by request.
Generally after contracting our hospital provides occupational health service including examinations and services as follows:
The prices of basic service detailed above are (in HUF):
"A" category: 14 300.-
"B" category: 12 000.-
"C" category: 9 500.-
"D" category: 7 150.-
"C" category + ophthalmology: 16.000.-
(is obligatory in cases descibed in EüM Decree No. 50/1999. (XI. 3.) of the Ministry of Health,for those applying to work in front of a screen almost all day)
Occupational health services are scheduled to Monday and Wednesday with 10-12 employees/group.
Physical examination, ECG, blood-pressure and visual acquity check are included to the prices above.
If our occupational health specialist assesses a different category from the indicated one, after conciliation, clients are charged accordingly. If laboratory tests and other specialist’s outpatient care services are necessary, they will be charged in addition to the basic prices.
Laboratory price: 4.800,-Ft/person (complete blood test, urinary test, hepatic and renal tests)
Biological exposure laboratory tests – separate rates.
Some valuable information about examinations:
By car the easiest way from Etele str. to Hadak útja str. Parking lots are available near the hospital opposite to the KTI office center.
By public transportation one can arrive to Bártfai utca (str.) bus-stop by 173E and 7E buses, then walk toward Hadak útja. Our hospital will be on the beginning of the fourth crossing street facing the KTI office center, behind the Diego carpet store.
Arriving by tram No. 19 or 49 one has to walk from Etele tér (square) stop on Etele street and then turn right (see below). Our hospital is in a few-minute walking distance.

- involvement in organizing first-aid and medical emergency care, contribution in professional coaching of first-aid givers

- counseling on labour hygiene
- providing obligatory statistical reports to authorities.

- We welcome our patients from 7.30 a.m. at the reception, then examinations start without delay.
- Further outpatient care can be organized by request in advance for an additional fee.
